The service
HMS Jr provides educational emotional-wellbeing courses for young people aged 10-18, a separate grown-up support space, consented account links, progress signals, and limited safety prompts. It is not therapy, diagnosis, medical treatment, emergency monitoring, or a substitute for professional care.
Accounts and consent
Adults must provide accurate account and payment information and keep access secure. Child accounts can use a parent-issued access code instead of an email. A child must approve a link before an adult sees linked progress or support information.
Do not share an access code outside the intended household. Adults must not use a child account to enter private lesson, journal or chat areas. Children must not use an adult account to access purchases or support records.
Courses and licence
A purchase grants personal digital access to the selected course for the named linked child. It does not transfer ownership of course text, illustrations, games or software. Content may not be copied, resold, publicly shared, scraped or used to train another product.
We may improve examples, accessibility, safety wording and activities without reducing the core course purchased.
Payments, delivery and cancellation
Prices are shown before checkout and payments are processed by Stripe. Access is added to the selected child account after confirmed payment.
Before checkout, an adult can ask for digital access to begin immediately and acknowledge that the 14-day cancellation right is lost once digital provision begins. This does not remove statutory rights where content is faulty, not as described or not supplied with reasonable care and skill.
For a payment or access problem, contact info@happymindsociety.com with the purchaser email and course name.
Privacy and safety features
The privacy policy explains what a linked adult can see. Safety wording checks and alerts are imperfect support tools. They cannot guarantee detection, immediate delivery, or a response from an adult.
If someone may be in immediate danger, call 999. For urgent mental-health help that is not an emergency, use NHS 111 where available. Young people in the UK can contact Childline free on 0800 1111.
Acceptable use and availability
Do not attempt to bypass role restrictions, access another family's information, interfere with the service, submit unlawful material, or use HMS Jr to threaten or harm someone. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, safety, misuse or legal compliance.
We work to keep HMS Jr available, but maintenance and external providers can cause interruptions. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot legally be excluded.
Changes and contact
Material changes will be dated here and, where appropriate, explained in the service. Questions can be sent through our contact page.
